The City of Rensselaer, Indiana

The City of Rensselaer Sanitation Department does allow for special trash pick-ups. If you have a large item you would like picked up or if you simply have more trash than a normal weekday you can call the Sanitation Department at 866-7833. We will take your name, inquire the type of pick up you are requesting and then advise you of the cost. The City of Rensselaer Sanitation Department will keep track of the time of the pick up and a minimum fee of $45.00 is charged. If the times goes past four (4) minutes, the fee of $9.00 per additional minute is added. This shall be added to your monthly utility bill. Please keep in mind that the City of Rensselaer does NOT pick up construction material of any kind, concrete or asphalt.
