The City of Rensselaer highly encourages all its citizens to recycle.  As you can see by viewing this page, a detailed guide of our recycle program is provided as well as the 4 R's, and a map of your recycling day.  We also provide each household with recycle bins at no cost.  Remember to reuse, reduce and recycle! The City of Rensselaer Recycling Program also accepts electronic recycling products at no cost.

PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING RECYCLING FOR CURBSIDE RESIDENTS

All residents who recycle need to separate materials as much as possible.  The City of Rensselaer Recycle Department has had an increase in mixed newspapers, magazine and cardboard.  Please remember to keep these items separate.  We thank you, in advance, for your cooperation.
